Unless otherwise noted, all motions were approved unanimously.

Sellers made the motion seconded by Kester to approve the Agenda with the addition of the Kosman CRP Management invoice.
Sellers made the motion seconded by Kester to approve the minutes of the following meetings: July 24, July 25, July 28, and Aug. 3, 2017.

Holly Arnold and Board Members from the Wayne County Home Care Aide Agency were present to ask for an additional $4000 in funding for their agency to help cover the $50,000 difference between the actual cost of services and what is charged. Wayne County Supervisors had already allotted $36, 000 for the Wayne County Home Care Aide Agency. Arnold stated that it costs $48 each time an aide is sent to provide services, sometimes with no reimbursement. Kester stated that he is solely responsible for the $4000 cut that went to 3 meal sites.

County Engineer, Trevor Wolf, stated that backfilling on the bridge south of town may be done next week. Wolf has been receiving quotes for patching on both the west and east sections of old highway 2. He will be getting bids for two new tractors and one mower. The rock trailer is rusted out and Wolf will be looking for a good used one as a replacement.

Payment of the invoice to Kosman CRP Management was tabled until the Board has a consultation with the County Attorney.

Kester made a motion with a second by Dotts to table the Return to Work and Light Duty policies.

Kester made a motion with a second by Dotts to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 AM.

There being no further business, the next meeting of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors will be held on the 21st day of August.
